Paradox Talk : Paradox Sports
Welcome to the campfire. Just like walking up to a campfire at a local crag or beach you never know what kind of conversation you'll intercept here. We may be talking about prosthetic feet or it may be the latest health-care bill pending before congress. You may find a thread about which camera is the best to take on your sea-kayaking trip or one asking how to get in touch with Erik Weihenmayer. You just don't know what you'll find here. Use the search function to look up prior threads or just browse.
All we ask is that you be respectful and honor the sanctity of the campfire.
Thx,
Malcolm

Date: August 19, 2009 10:29AM I am fairly new to the area and I am interested in possibly doing some adaptive white water kayaking. Does anyone know if anything like that currently exists locally? Re: Asheville NC kayaking

Date: August 23, 2009 11:41PM Hey dtmorris,
I don't know of anyone specifically who can help you but I'll check it out. What kind of disability do you have? Knowing that will help a lot to find someone or a group to help out. If you feel like answering in a private PM that's fine. Mal Life is not what it's supposed to be. It's what it is. How you deal with it is what makes the difference. V. Date: August 24, 2009 09:46AM Sorry Malcolm I should have been more clear. I dont have any physical disabilities (other than being out of shape) I am more looking to volunteer my time with people who might like to learn to kayak with their disabilities. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
